Spanish courses for groups
DICE – Didactical Center is an specialize center in teaching Spanish as well as organizing study stays in Spain for schools and institutes.
Our wide experience in this sector allows us to offer tailored programs. This programs are organized following the different requirements a school might have, including budget and personal attention.
We offer linguistic stays for every Kind of group. Usually with a minimum of 10 students. DICE opens all year round therefore, we can host groups at any time through the year.
Salamanca is the best scenario for this kind of stays. Language school, host families, monuments, shops,… everything is within a few minutes’ walk. Salamanca’s University (one of the oldest and most prestigious in Europe and recognized worldwide as a perfect place to learn Spanish) together with the Plaza Mayor, the cathedrals, convents,… make of Salamanca a city with a great atmosphere young and enjoyable.
Courses
Students will have to sit an online level test before their arrival in order to determine their level of Spanish and assign them to the right class. We will send you the web address where they will be able to attend the test.
Our courses have at least two grammar and two conversational lessons. Sometimes, the lesson would be attended outside the school, visiting some place in Salamanca where they will have to use their Spanish. Every student will receive our course material specific for his/her Spanish level. All our course material are unique and they are developed by our teachers. All our courses start every Monday. If you would wish to start any other day, please contact us and ask for availability. It is possible to start any other day of the week in order to allow groups to find cheaper flight tickets.
Accommodation
One the main requirements from students, teachers and students’ families when organizing a study stay abroad is to have a comfortable accommodation. DICE counts on an excellent group of host families. These are welcoming and friendly. This has been possible after years of experience and a constant monitoring of our accommodation services.
All our accommodations are located at a maximum of 20 minutes’ walk from the school. This service is usually full board double or triple bedrooms.
In any case, if the student would want to change the host family for any reason, DICE is committed to find a new one within 48 hours.
Activities
During the stay in Salamanca, DICE organizes different activities in the afternoon. The main goal of these activities is to complete the linguistic immersion in Spain. Generally, the program we offer includes, a city guided tour on Monday, a photo-rally on Tuesday (this activity is specially design to make the students interact with the people in Salamanca), a Spanish cultural conference (it could be about different topics) on Thursday and chocolate with “churros” (to live a typical Spanish tradition) on Friday.
We also organize other activities, such as “tapas” tasting, dinners, excursions to different cities (like Madrid, Avila, Segovia and Toledo), dancing lessons (salsa or flamenco), Spanish cooking lessons (for small groups only), visit different museums, etc.
